With the advent of high performance computing environments, virtualization, distributed and parallel computing, as well as the increasing memory, storage and computational power, processing particularly complex scientific applications and voluminous data is more affordable. With the current computing software, hardware and distributed platforms effective use of advanced computing techniques is more achievable.We are soliciting papers that present recent results, as well as more speculative presentations that discuss research challenges, define new applications, propose methodologies for evaluating and the roadmap for achieving the vision of Computer Science and Computational Technology but not limited to the following topics:

Publications
The papers will be accepted in ISCSCT2008 proceedings, which is published by IEEE Computer Society Press, which will indexed by EI & ISTP. A selected number of the accepted papers will be invited for expanding and revising for possible inclusion in special issues for the following Journal of Computer(EI Compendex).

Registration Fees
Early Oral session registration fee: RMB 2600 before 15 Oct, 2008

Paper Submission
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a full paper for review by Sept 1, 2008, in PDF or Word format. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered, written in English, should be no more than 6 pages, must be electronically submitted at http://www.iscsct.org/ps.asp or submit to iscsct@126.com
